Choose the training path that fits your level. The Empowered Protector Program is for people brand new to firearms who want a complete beginner-to-confident-shooter journey including permits, live fire, and full skill building.
The Advanced Carry Program is for current Maryland CCW holders ready to sharpen accuracy, draw speed, defensive skills, and real-world confidence through hands-on training and guided live-fire sessions. Train at your own pace, schedule easily, and get premium coaching every step of the way.

Tribe Defense Academy’s Premier Training Programs
These programs are designed to take you from unsure to confident with clear instruction, hands-on training, and real-world preparation in a safe, supportive environment.
You’ll follow one of three complete training paths, depending on your experience level:
For Beginners and New Gun Owners that want to carry their firearm:
The Empowered Protector Program walks you step by step from zero experience to confident, responsible firearm ownership and concealed carry. Training includes beginner fundamentals, Maryland HQL and CCW training, guided range sessions, carry skills, live-fire coaching, gun maintenance education, and done-for-you paperwork support. You move at your own pace, with your training tailored to you. In total 5 Group Classes, 1 Private Classroom session, and 3 Private Range sessions.
For Beginners and New Gun Owners that want to protect their home:
The Home Defender Program guides you step by step from zero experience to confident, responsible firearm ownership for home protection. Training includes beginner fundamentals, Maryland HQL training, paperwork support, guided range sessions, live-fire coaching, gun maintenance education, safe handling and storage, and done-for-you paperwork support. You move at your own pace, with training tailored to you. In total 3 Group Classes, 1 Private Classroom Session, and 2 Private Range Sessions.
For Current Concealed Carry Permit Holders:
The Advanced Carry Program is built to sharpen real-world skills beyond the permit. You’ll improve accuracy, drawing from concealment, movement, decision-making, and confidence under pressure through guided coaching, outdoor live-fire sessions, and carry-focused training. In total 2 Group Classes, 1 Private Classroom session, and 3 Private Range sessions.
Both paths include hands-on instruction, practical range time, essential gear, and lifetime VIP benefits with Tribe Defense Academy.

FAQs
Is this the right program for me?
If you’re brand new, nervous, or need permits, the Empowered Protector Program is the right place to start. If you already have your CCW and want real-world confidence, the Advanced Carry Program is designed for you. If you’re unsure, you can book a strategy call or call us 301-410-9220 before checking out.
Do I need my own firearm right now?
No. You can begin training without a firearm. In both programs you have the option of your first range training consisting of the "Try Before You Buy" session. Once you purchase your firearm, we’ll continue the remaining sessions.
How soon does training start after I purchase?
After checkout, you’ll schedule a strategy or welcome call where we plan your training and book your first session based on your availability. You'll also get an email immediately after checkout with all the links to the first sessions of each training program, in case you prefer to book them yourself!
What if I feel nervous or inexperienced?
That’s expected. These programs are designed specifically for people who want patient, supportive instruction. You’ll never be rushed or pushed beyond your comfort level.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. Afterpay and PayPal Later are available so you can split your payments over time.
Is this group training or private?
It’s a mix. Some sessions are group-based, while others are private or small-group coaching so you get personal attention.
