I had an amazing experience with both Shani and Tony. I took the Women's Beginner Class with Shani, and as someone who is terrified of guns but knows she needs some form of protection, I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. She knows her stuff and delivers it in an incredibly relatable way. A few weeks later, I took my first range class with Tony. It was my first time ever holding and firing a real gun. He made sure I remembered the safety rules and proper form, and his constant reminders were a huge help. I almost broke down in tears at the range, but he made me feel comfortable and gave me the confidence I needed. I'm so grateful this husband and wife team randomly showed up on my Instagram feed. I guess the universe was telling me it was time. If you're interested in learning gun safety, especially as a woman, I highly recommend Tribe Defense Academy. They are worth every penny and every second of your time!
Today I had good trainning experience with Tony from the Tribe Defense Academy. While I attend the range alone and understanding the 3 rules, I still felt like I was missing something. He gave me some good pointers and educated me on why I was firing the way I was. I was feeling nervous thinking I would not get better. I learned from Tony, what and how to fix what needed changing has helped me.

No, our programs are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
Our Multi-State Concealed Carry Class covers firearm safety, handling, and legal responsibilities, with training and certification for the permits included in your selected pass.
Choose the pass that fits where you live, work, and travel:
- Maryland Only: Maryland concealed carry training.
- DC Only: DC concealed carry training.
- DMV Pass: Maryland, DC, and Virginia concealed carry training.
- Max Pass: Everything in the DMV Pass, plus Utah, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Arizona options.
Training does not issue a carry permit. Separate state applications, fees, and approval requirements apply.
