Maryland/ DC Wear And Carry Permit *Renewal

This course meets the required 8 hours of training to renew your Maryland Wear and Carry Permit and/or your DC Concealed Carry License Renewal.

Complete your renewal training with USCCA and NRA-certified instructors who prioritize skill, safety, and real-world confidence.

Our Maryland and DC Renewal Permit Training covers all state-required material, including legal updates, use of force laws, firearm safety, and carry procedures. The course also includes instructor-guided live-fire qualification to ensure you meet proficiency standards.

Upon successful completion of the 8-hour course, students receive the certification required to submit their Maryland Wear and Carry Renewal and/or DC Concealed Carry Renewal applications.

What’s Included:

• Use of eye and ear protection
• Firearm for qualification (students are encouraged to bring their personal firearm)

Applicants must complete a 25-round (50 DC) live-fire qualification from no further than 15 yards and achieve a minimum score of 70% accuracy.

Day one 9AM-5PM: Report to classroom in Suitland, MD. Meet at Maryland Small Arms Range for a Range Safety Briefing, Course of Fire Practice & Qualification shooting. Second half of day Report to classroom in Suitland, MD includes Simulator training (not required)

Haven’t shot your firearm in the last 2 years?
It’s not required, but we highly recommend booking a private range session before class to build confidence and comfort. Sessions are available Mon–Fri, 9AM–7PM at indoor or outdoor ranges with your own firearm and ammo- includes range fee and targets. (Firearm rental and ammo additional $25)
