Take your concealed carry training with with a USCCA and NRA-certified instructor.

Our Maryland Wear & Carry Permit Training covers the Maryland state-required course material as well as instructor-guided range training to ensure trainees meet the gun safety, application process, and proficiency requirements. Students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force.

Upon completion the two-day, 16 hr course, students will gain the certification needed to obtain the Maryland Wear Carry Permit (HQL permit, needed to purchase a firearm also included).

Included- certificate upon completion, target, ammo, use of eye and ear protection, and firearm. While we provide firearms for the range portion, students are encouraged to bring their own personal firearms.

Applicants must shoot a course of at least 25-rounds from no further than 15 yards and score of 70% accuracy during live-fire qualifications.

These tools immerse students in real-life shoot/no-shoot scenarios, providing practical, decision-making training to prepare them for real-world situations.

Day one  9AM-5PM: Report to classroom in Suitland, MD, includes Simulator training (not required)

Day two  9AM-5PM: Report to Classroom for a Range Safety Briefing, then MD Small Arms, Upper Marlboro, MD for Course of Fire Practice & Qualification shooting. Second half of day Report to classroom in Suitland, MD

Class Details:

• Cost: $250 per person or $450 for 2 people (put second person’s name in order notes at checkout)
• Duration: 16 hours
• Days: Either Saturday AND Sunday or Thursday AND Friday.
• Location: Classroom in Camp Springs, MD and Small Arms Range in Upper Marlboro, MD

**First time shooting?
It’s not required, but we HIGHLY recommend booking a private range session before class to build confidence and comfort before the qualification test at the range on day 2. Sessions are available Mon–Fri, 9AM–7PM at indoor or outdoor ranges and include range fee, firearm use, and ammo. Normal price $150, pre price $125
